Excuses are a dressed up lie!

I heard someone say, "excuses are just a dressed up lie", and while I thought about that for a while, it got me thinking of where does that excuse stem from?

My thoughts always come back to education and starting from the beginning....

Why aren't we taught as children how to fuel our body in the right way to support our active lifestyles?

Why do we not know how our body systems work? Yes, I know it is complex, but it can be put in simple terms to give us an idea on how to manage it. We seem to wait until we are sick or injured before we think of our body and how we fuel it. We know we need to put petrol in a car and water in the radiator without knowing the intricate system that make it run.

We put hundreds of dollars into a car to make sure it gets us to A and B. Why do we not do the same for our bodies??

Just a little food for thought, no pun intended lol.

I am very passionate in health and fitness and happy to help and guide my clients in educating them to support a healthy lifestyle, no fad, no diet, just healthy.

Prevention, not cure. Start young.
